So this senior at our school died yesterday and two weeks before that some one else in her family died... now her brother is getting freaked out and stopped eating, sleeping and can't stop crying because apparently deaths come in threes?? and he thinks he is next... what could I say to try and help him out and calm him down??

tell him that it was their time to go away, but in time you'll see then again, and that they don't want you to be like this because they could never forgive then selfs or forgive him because he killed him self. Tell him that if he dies and he does it on propose that es selfish and doesn't care how people around him will feel when he goes away . and last of all he should know that they're waiting for him when its his time but its not yet so wait . i hope that helps your friend . (:

lol he isn't suicidal he just thinks that he is going to be the next one to die in his family because his sister was brutally murdered... its really hard to explain but idk

Without sounding harsh...I really don't believe such things happen in 3's. Tell him to just get on with his life the best he can.
