It's definatly a big resolution of mine, I'm just to stupid to get rid of my blades sooo it probally won't work out... but heyy we can do it together (:

its my only resolution..i keep my blades too although if im feeling the urge to do it and i hold my blade then it sometimes makes me wanna stop..also if i look at my arms and belly (especially my left arm) it makes me not wanna do it cuz i get to see what happens if do it..also alot of times when i feel like doing it i think about people on this site which makes me stop

for me, if I think about doing it I'm going to do it if I'm tempted, then i start to do good and I have one of my moments and it ruins it all again... and lol its one of my resolutions too

Like i've aready said self harm is like scratching an itch. scratching simply takes that stingy feeling away because the pain from the scratching makes the pain of the itching seem like less. However, scratching can cause you to get cuts; it can make a bump a scar; it can leave your skin red; sometimes it doesn't work unless you keep scratching. In other words it doesn't solve the long term problem it just makes things worse and leaves "scars"- not only physical ones. I wish you guys all the best in your quest to stop harming yourselves!
