So, im gonna dye my hair firetruck red, only temp stuff tho, whats a good quality brand? I also hear you cant make your hair go lighter, i have pretty dark brown/black hair, will firetruck red work? Thanks

to get the desired bright colour, you need to start with light coloured hair. which in your case(and mine) will require bleaching = pain in the ass, expencive, hard to look after, a little bit risky etc etc. you need a goood hair stylist who knows what they're doing, its best if you can find someone who you know is good cause you know someone who uses them or somthing, and tell them what you want and they'll tell you what you gotta doo (prolly bleach, treat, wait, treat, wait, bleachtreat, wait, treat, wait, dye) then make up yo mind. yep, having dark hair sucks.

If you do it without bleaching you'll see the red, but it won't be that 'vibrant'. Stargazer is one of the popular temporary ones.
