i'm trying to move on from my ex... well its not really working... and i'm trying to meet someone new and at least find a way to get over him but i'm not sure because theres not really anybody. what else can i do to get over this kid?

Dont look for love from someone else and dont look for a boyfriend material or contendant. Just wake up and have fun with your mates you'll move on and be ready when you feel it in your bones and its true you just got to carry on living your life love finds you when you need it and i believe in that because well its happened to me. Chin up chickk :]

I'm not a good "advice giver" lol but I can tell you about my own experience and maybe it'll help! (I hope it does) First, I started reminiscing everything that have happened between us in details, (even though it hurts so bad). Then I said/wrote all the things that I wanted him to know (my feelings back then , my feelings now, the reasons for the things that I've done, the way he made me feel...etc) regardless to "if he's gonna hear/read it or not". Then I started convincing myself that I can get over him and move on (I've lived 17 years wihout him and so I can live another 17 years without him). I've looked for things to do to keep my mind busy (hobbies such as listening to music, making youtube videos, shopping, hanging out and trying to make new friends...etc). I'm still doing these things whenever I feel down or start to miss him... I'd be lying if I said that I'm completely over him, but I feel less pain than I used to, and hopefully soon I'll feel nothing at all.

I used to believe in "Time heals", but it doesn't really help much, sometimes you just gotta do something about it and then in time things will get better.

True. You have to be proactive as well and not feel sorry for yourself for too long.
