Well just a short hello from me. My names Stuart, though often on the net folks refer to me as Ferret (amongst other names), this is due in part to my like for the animals (I challenge anyone to say they're not awesome and mean it) and also because I'm tall, thin and a bit of a mischief at times. So I'd often heard the term emo and not really that often in a positive light, I wanted to know more. So I hit google (google obviousley wasn't happy about this and got a restraining order) and I found SoEmo and a lovely bunch of folks in the chat to talk to who were very welcoming albeit a little odd (I felt quite at home). This is turning out to be a not so quick post. *grins* Until recently I was never one to make a fuss over music, fashion or anything at all. But I have realised that my tastes do run a certain way, and I have begun to do my best to broaden my horizons and listen to and look at what many describe as "alternative" genres. I cant remember who it was that suggested "The pretty reckless" but thanks again, really enjoying their stuff. I will however listen to almost anything apart from mainstream pop, it kinda feels like I'm being spoonfed pre-processed canned meat when I do. There are however always exceptions. Anyway I think I've waffled on enough, thanks again for the warm welcome folks, it is appreciated. - Ferret.
