So there are times where if I take a deep breath, it feels like there is a knife stabbing in between my rib cage and I know that's not supposed to happen. It's only happened three times (bad enough to cause pain to me, which is hard to do) but it scares me because my ex-best friend Adam coughs up blood and I'm worried that's going to be me... especially since I smoke what do you think??

...That doesn't sound too good, especially because you smoke. I know that pain though, even though I don't smoke. Sometimes it happens. I don't really know why; I thought I was like the only one.... But I think it's because my heart likes to skip a beat time to time because I was born with a heart murmur that corrected itself for the most part, but it is easy for it to get outta wack.

but mines in my right lung not anywhere near my heart, i dunno if it continues I'll get it checked out

hmm.....thats strange. i feel that every once in a while but i dont smoke or have any heart conditions. you should just probably get it checked out. i think that would be the best bet. even if you dont want to, sometimes the hard decisions are the ones we have to make.

You could have bruised lungs from the smoking Do you cough alot? That could lead to bruising to cause the pain but since you smoke you should maybe go to the doctors if it gets worse but atm just take painkillers to relieve the pain

Okay, my Aunt went through this EXACT same process and she's an ex-smoker. You are probably on your way to having a STROKE. You need to STOP smoking, try NOT to stress yourself out and go see a doctor QUICK. My aunt JUST finished with her recovery because she had a minor stroke, but the pain was on her left side and that's the side of her body that got PARALYZED. A stroke is painful, and if you have one, it'll probably shut down your entire right side and you'll have to spend a LONG time recovering from it. IF YOU COME OUT OF IT ALIVE.

Thanks for scaring the shit out of me... and it hasn't happened since I've been back from my dad's house, No I don't cough alot, and I haven't smoked all summer so I'm doing good on that
