I was thinking about this a while back, accutually. There are two types of people in this generation. The type that actually have problems and deserve help, and the type that over dramatize EVERYTHING. I honestly just want to live my life as fully as possible. I try to put the dark things in the back of my mind, and cling to things like music, and love (The real kind).

These are the types of people I've thought of in our generation, and of course the degrees of how extreme they are vary: The ones who over-dramaticize the little things and are actually better off than most. The ones who try to seclude themselves from the world when it gets too bad, not being able to cope (I admit to being one of these people), but search frantically for the light when they feel like they can finally come out of their cave. They can laugh just as easily as they can cry. The ones like you, who, like what my good friend I've talked to has said (who is one of these people): "save the depressing thoughts for a later time", which, for him, means putting it off as long as he can, hopefully never getting to them Then there's the ones who drown themselves in party party party, do nothing but party, and don't care about anything but partying all the time because it's their escape. This seems to be more mainstream, sadly... Same attitude as all of the hip hop songs seem to encourage.

It's the sign of evolving, we get lazier and lazier, things are changed with machines and electronics and the time just floats by our eyes. Why is it like this? I don't know, but what i know is that most of what we want in our lives are nothing but wishful thinking. Hard work is no longer necessary to survive and the will to survive today are for many just a vague virtue. I don't know how to describe this life other than dark and mystic filled with false predicted hope, objectified and selfish morals that people have used to contort others "no this time i'm not talking about religion but mankind itself, i'm a bit....misanthropic it think o.O" We create and fill these gaps and voids, hoping that other people will hear our desperate voices screaming for help and emotional pleasure. Mankind has shown me it's evil side, but also a good side filled with love, passion, care for one another, empathy, sympathy and also forgiveness and humbleness. I really don't know what to say so I'll just make some random stuff As we are born we feel no void, no big worries or anything until the world starts to open us up to reality and everything we once had as children, happiness, comfort, safety, care is scattered pieces we work hard trying to find and use as we get older. As many may have noticed i have a rather dark point of view on everything and i admit that atheism has holes just as much as everything. I like to try and stay positive, but idk it just makes me feel like a fake, like i'm faking emotions in a vain attempt to fit in among the people that actually manage it, i guess i'm a bit jealous of the people that really are happy because they remind me that i am not satisfied with my life yet. Sometimes i feel like i let everybody down and don't live up to what they expect of me which makes me feel weak and pathetic. I don't know about you but I myself think the medieval way of life had more meaning than life today. Another thing, to quote motionless in white "I Am Human And I Need To Be Loved" I think that is the most important about life today; Love, it connects to people in a special way and binds them together so that they may feel what others call "normal". I'm not like most guys, when it comes to love i'm old fashioned not one of those humping around on everything that moves and brags about "my conquers". Love is something special between two human beings and may bring some sort of light into people like me. True, there are alot more, alot of "escape routes" as i would call it, but for me the most precious one is love, true love, real connection. Even though i don't believe in a soul or anything like that i like to use them as descriptions. The true love is what bids two souls together, the people will find comfort, grief, joy and lust in one another, helping eachother to cope with life. Sometimes i might seem hard to break, but it's just a mask and a shield. Behind it lies a fragile vulnerable being who is really lost in this life. Thanks to Jojo it's alot easier, she means the world to me, and i think that she knows more than anyone what i am talking about. We need to ask ourselves "What is the cause of the great gap in my soul?" "What is it i really want and need to be happy?" "How do we fill the nothingness that we've become?" I think it's important to bring back philosophy, it may died because it didn't keep track with science, but we can always get it back on the track.
