This distance Between us Pulls at the stitching of my heart That so delicately keeps The pieces held tight And I think of you When i'm alone At night I wish to hold you in my arms To stroke your hair And kiss your lips Safe from harm Safe from paranoia That wretched heart destroyer It's too much to ask? Of this wretched world Nothing comes easy Except pain And despair And sickness and illness And death All can share... I love you <3
