Oh, the sullen pain beating beneath my breast! How deeply it strikes me each time I am rejected, God above, whence shall I be with love blessed, or shall I forever feel damned and dejected? Each tear falls as it whispers its dirge, each drop so full of affliction, agony and sorrow; "Give up" some say- but lo, I must resist that urge, I must hope, I must pray for a brighter tommorow! Down my cheek each tear doth cascade, yes , the sad choir of tears forsm a downpour, some laugh and others smirk so I feel dismayed, and such turmoil makes my soul so sore!
