Now, overall, I feel less hurting Because, last night, you told me "Sweet dreams," The state of my heart is less concerning I'm no longer tearing at the seams You gave me a light that I feel like sharing You opened my heart with that special key Maybe it's the way your friendship's so caring The way you make me feel like the special one is me So tonight I'll be singing "Sweet dreams, my darling," I'll be singing it soft and sweet To you I'll be singing "Sweet dreams, my darling," Because of you, I no longer weep

I enjoyed the flow to this poem, the rhyme scheme really let it flow gently and thus added to the more calm theme of the poem.
