she knows him better than he knows himself the anger builds inside of him and words start to spit a whore a slut the usual muck the night drifts on the insults getting deeper the words being like little cuts on your skin a tear moistens her cheek questioning if this is what she wants she wants to get out but the door in her head is always locked her strength weak her determination strong she pushes him aside and runs crying and screaming for help she wakes up on the floor her arms tied to a chair a face just standing there staring no remorse in his eyes and now she is back again to where she began
