i am me simple to see would you understand a soul like me if nothing but a smile is all you see i try so hard to be the best a gentlemen i am but never a guest others see me naught for the best but then i saw what i wasnt what i want to be but the thought repulses me i realise now i am no gentlemen i am simply a vampire i drain the life from beautiful things to feed my hedonistic spire i realise i am no man more a snivelling pile of regrets i still cannot ban day by day i see the wind as it carries birds through the seasons whim i go nowhere not even slowly seeing vindication as not even holy what fate am i too walk do i carry one being the gentlemen knowing inside i am simply feeding or do i play another role the true vampire of possesions fleeting either way i am still not ecstatic being either isn't romantic what i am is a gentlemen and a vampire what i can be is a monster is this so hard to see if all you know is the smile you see
