I press my palm Against your palm And my hand looks so small You could close yours Over the tops of my fingertips. But you're just another Random connection And it pains my heart But I can't make that decision So I'll turn away my face. Tonight I'll bleed Ridiculously And yes, I know It's stupid, stupid me. Don't look this way And avoid my gaze It's just better That way. Yeah, I liked you First day, first sight of you So I shielded my heart from you Yet it already aches? I press my palm Against your palm And my hand, it's so small As you joke 'bout how yours Could close over the tops Of my fingertips.
