Shadows Though I run They Chase Though I scream They silence me Every Breath They Smother Every tear They drown Every sob They choke They Haunt And They Taunt They mock And They twist They take away happiness And give misery The shadows They’re all I see They block out the light And bring the darkness They kiss with death And ill with life Everything is Tasteless Everything is lifeless Everything is dull Everything is pain There’s no escape There’s no hope There’s no faith And there’s no love Life is worthless In the eyes of the shadows Death is everything In the eyes of the shadows They will not rest Until my soul is in their hands Blood is what they lust And blood is what they get I fall And I die Fore these Shadows Linger
