Ok, with emo and scene, i don't know what i am, i know a lot of people are going to say your you, but I DONT WANT THAT. Ok im really confused, when you first look at a person, you judge them by what there wearing, but the thing is, i dont know when people first look at me, will they see me as emo or scene? I'll describe one of my outfits. A black kingdom hearts shirt, pink-ish skinny jeans, red plaid ballet flat be thhhhghhhvgat up there where it says soemo, a gir necklace, a hello kitty necklace, a pink diamond shaped necklace (i know thats shown for scene, but what if you didnt know that) and black make-up. My attitude is i listen to screamo have a minor case of double rainbow syndrome, and gloomy when none of my friends are around. SO ANSWER EMO OR SCENE NOOOO YOUR YOURSELF.

Depends what subculture you want to identify with. Emo is the more mainstream term if they seen you but you probably may not see yourself as emo, you may see yourself as scene who is "dark". For me, I don't identify with any subcultures. I just consider myself "dark" and I like to embrace that side of me.

but you are you, but if you don't want to be yourself i'ld say your scene...but i'm not the best person to ask. And when it comes to what other people think not all are going to think your scene or emo as it's all based on what they think scene,emo,goth,etc is. Don't try and 'fit in' to any sub-genre if i was you there's just no point
