I'm talking about bands such as Rites of Spring (the first ever emo band) Embrace, I hate Myself, Texas Is The Reason etc. I know people say that is "Real" Emo, I don't believe that. However I do believe many people mix up many modern bands with Emo. Maybe listen to them and say what you think ;)

80's emotive is the shit, let's be honest. More modern emo, also epic as balls. As for the "real emo" stigma... emo is for us, by us, and it is whatever we amazing little emos decide it is =3 Well, that's my opinion anyways.

Old school Emo is so much better than all the poser-bands who's being called emo just because they dress in black, im not gonna mention any names but i think u guys can figure it out yourself. This is the new kind of EMO, not poser-emo or whatever, it's called twinkly emo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3zXiYkJIGU i think its really good, it sounds pretty "dirty" wich all the true emobands did in the 80's and that brings a lot of feelings to the music:)
