Not knowing where to look or turn, All I know is my heart still yearns, No longer I know what's real or fake, I just know my life was a huge mistake, I have no God and no friends to turn to, I can't explain to you what I've been through. You know I'm in pain from what has gone on, But no longer do I remember if the sun has shone, My tears fall like and endless acid shower, In all of this world it's just a friend I desire, So many times I let my guard down to get hurt, So everyone thinks it's okay to treat me like dirt. I hide my wrist from the world because of you, I know that what I've done will only be misconstrue, I wear your ring because it holds our childs soul, But the pain it brings can not be foretold, Because I know in my heart I can never let go, The past will only haunt me as I get old. You can say you care but it wont make it true, I find it hard to believe with all the sh*t I've been through, That someone I hardly know can be loving to me, And actually want to help me up and set my heart free, But I have found people who belong in my heart, Their the minority who want to help me restart. With all the mistakes I've made in my life, Even by now I thought I'd at least have a wife, I want to just settle down and have a family, I must have been a murderer and be victim of the laws of three, I am broken hearted from what has happened and I've seen, Just tell me what choices I should have made and who I could have been.
