My ex told me that he loved me after a few days of talking on Facebook before hanging out. I didn't say I loved him back, but said, well I like you. He got mad at me because he expect me to say it back. To me it doesn't work that way. I just think that the word love has been overly used, and not used for the right moments. People these days can easily say that they love you and don't mean it. And when he said he loved me, I just thought it was too soon to say and I no longer took him seriously. A few days later, he just stopped talking to me and I decided to cut the rope. Because after he said, "I love you more than I love myself," that's when I thought he was phasing. If someone makes it that easy to fall in love with someone, then he/she can easily fall out of love. It's just another way of hurting people for their silly "I love you" mistake to get things from you. I don't know, I can be wrong. What do you think? Am I over-thinking this?

I think you're right. Love isn't something to be demanded or asked to be returned. Love just is. Love is easy to come but not easy to go.
