I can feel you slipping away from me My rock crumbling to sand And through crystal blur I vaguely see The empty spaces in my hand Where your fingers nestled soft between mine Where our fingertips curl, thumbs entwine I can feel you slipping away So long I've spent in bitter dread Despising the thought of this day Where the sky bleeds broken crimson red And taunts me from above And the ground caves underneath me feet And I'm left without your love.
