I really, really hate their music. Most of it is pointless and about sex. Plus the style of music seems ridiculous to me

okay, i have to say, you all have valid points, but i love BOTDF. Have since 9th grade and i hate all the hate they've been getting. yes, they're different than most bands, but they aren't a bad group. sure they have sex songs, but theyre meant to entertain. theyre supposed to make you laugh, and theyve succeeded. ive gone through a lot with this band in my playlist and im glad they were there. whenever im depressed and i listen to one of their sex songs, i laugh and feel better. thats their purpose, so please stop the hate. :)

I love them. <3 people give them crap all the time for their sex songs but they are all meant for fun. their new songs are amazing, like "dont want to be like you" and stuff. don't hate on them :)

So I love them not gonna lie. But I am not a fan of their music. I like the band because the members are good people (some may disagree but that's your opinion). If you bring them a little cheesy present, they give you at least $50 worth of merch to show just how much they appreciate your tiny little gift. They donate money to charities all the time. They do weekly chats for their fans. They give and give so much. They have a whole lot of contests on twitter and give away free stuff. They always talk about how great full they are for their fans. They told me that they wouldn't trade their fans for any contract, amount of money, or anything anyone has to offer. From a musical standpoint, Jayy should go solo and Dahvie can't sing. The background is beautifully written (in the newer albums) and well layered. They sure do know how to put on a show though. I went to a concert because I had backstage access, and I didn't even want to go backstage because they really do know how to get the crowd going. Now some of their lyrics are trash, some are hilarious, some are meaningful and depressing, some are angry, some lighten your mood. That's one thing I do like about their music, is how diverse it is. They have a song for all of your moods. So that's how I feel on BOTDF. I will forever be a SGTC member because of how wonderful the band members are <3
