I have to take my acts saterday and im really nerves about it. on top of everything else I have a panic disorder where if i get really stressed out or feel under pressure i have really panic attacks. i already feel like im under a lot of pressure and i know im going to have to work fast as you only have a few seconds to answer each question so that doesn't leave a lot of time for me to try to relax and calm down. im really sick over this has anyone taken the act before? what is it like? some one help me relax before i have a heart attack.

I have never taken an act before,but I do struggle with a panic disorder also.With a lot of anxiety going on in your head,you need to just breathe,deep breathes really help.Also think of the things you can change about the situation your in (mind set,positive thinking) and think of the things you cant change(rules,amount of time to answer a question) than work on the things you can change and except the things you cant.Remember to go into the act thinking positive,with a positive mind,nothing negative can happen.I really hope this helps a little(:.You'll do great.

I have taken the ACT. Its honestly not something you should be too worried about. Make sure to take a few practice tests to become comfortable with the type of questions they have, and dont worry too much about the time as long as your basic principles are strong. The essay was the hardest part, the topics are kind of vague, but I still ended up making a 30 on it. All in all its not something to stress too much about. Keep time in mind but dont let it make you rush. Good luck :)
