Wow, I haven't been on here in ages! First off, I'd like to say that I'm now in college and I graduated in the top ten of my high school class, AND I had the opportunity to go to Harvard for FREE! (I didn't chose there, I'm going to a private college close to home, but wow!) Why am I telling you this boring stuff? Well, thanks for asking, imaginary audience. I'm telling you this because I am living proof that just because you identify as 'alternative,' that doesn't mean you can't be successful. When I first came on to this site many years ago, I identified myself as 'emo.' Now that I'm older, I realized that I was just a Baby-Bat, and I now identify as Goth, but since this site is so nice and free from the elitist bullshit Goth sites tend to have-(I'm looking at you, VampireFreaks...)I like to come back now and then. So hi, I'm Manita Muerte, and I'm back! If you are ever in need of advice, I'll be happy to take you under my wing. If you want to have a chat about comic books, video games, anime, art, religion, and even science-I'm the lady to go to.

:D Oh hey. This is a good post. It lets me know that some people still are the way they are and still go to college having the same trend and personality. This is my second year at college, and there are no goths or emo looking people where I go to study. I don't let that bother me, but its nice to read this. It makes me feel a little better about myself. lol
