Hey. I don't have any interest in being a part of this forum community, but I registered to post this message. I too dealt with various emotional problems a few years ago. All I want to say is that you shouldn't give up, keep hope alive. I don't know you but I'm sure you're a wonderful woman with a bright future. No matter how shitty today feels, there's always tomorrow. And after enough tomorrows add up, it'll be next week/month/year and whatever it is that's making you sad now will seem so much more insignificant. I'm not much of a believer in the pill-popping approach to combating depression - antidepressants have a side effect of making you more depressed, which I'd say goes against the point. I'd suggest a holistic approach to dealing with your sadness: get off the computer, go outside into nature, dance more. I'd also suggest removing yourself from social media sites - the compulsion to go scrolling through Tumblr/Facebook/Pinterest/whatever and see other people's adventures makes your own life seem much worse. (Remember, these are heavily edited - and hence inaccurate - representations of your friends' lives. Nobody posts to Facebook when they take a runny shit or get yelled at by that crusty homeless guy across the street!). I hope you feel better soon! p.s. I'd also suggest giving this a listen. I don't know what your style of music is, but this has always helped me out when I'm having a shitty time. Thanks I've gone through so much already and now have medical issues that are pretty bad but I'm still standing thank u

Not knowing much about you, all I can say is try to hold on. I have experienced a lot of social anxiety and depression too, and although I have recovered with some of my behaviors I still feel alone all the time. All I can say is please PLEASE don't do anything you will later regret, or worst of all end your life. If you ever need someone to talk to don't be afraid to message me. It's hard to give advice to people in such terrible situations, but all I can say is that I've been there before and even though it may not seem like it, there is always a way out.

You're not the only one. Just keep strong, continue fighting, and don't give up. You can do it, we all can. Sometimes I ask myself, the same questions you are asking. But I remind myself who I am, what I stand for, and continue on.
