I Strolled Alone Feb 09 2015, 12:52 PM

To death shall come of this eerie night When dusk fell it fell so dark And I strolled alone thinking of what shall come next Pin drops, shallow sounding footsteps I hear "What's Behind Me?" I asked in fear And I strolled alone thinking of what shall come next Music Blaring through my buds Darkness will fade, light will become And I strolled alone thinking of what shall come next Dawn pushed up, the sun rose in this hemisphere Alone I won't be, alone will be no one here And I strolled alone thinking what shall come next I see my first fellow, I run and I hide "Will I scare them? Do they know who I am?" I thought So I decided to face them, with what shall become my heart fluttered, the birds sung To which she was beautiful And we strolled together knowing we were the future With nothing going to fade away To death has come of that eerie night And light was born again The future behold within our sight It's not mine, it's Ours to gain My first poem on here, just really something I've thought up. Hope you like it
