Feel the fingers slowly grasp your wrists, to slow the bleeding. Watching as the darkness envelops you, slowly blocking out all of the light you see before you. A place of limbo, the days begin to blend, food is no longer appealing, they say these meds will help. Why isn't what their saying happening with me? Why is it always such a trial by fire to find any relief...besides the one I can do with my blades...these hills I've searched high and low, but relief has escaped me...I often wonder if I could indeed find relief with the ones I love, or in what they believe in, but their beliefs burn me, and drag me down even lower. I stand alone and unafraid of these new friends I have acquired, as I dance in my head with these thoughts of suicide, all these years later and it is still the same. why has so much of this happened to me? How could these dreams be snatched away from me? If He closes one door...where is the one He opened.. feeling like a child in a storm, I stand here with these shadowy friends of mine, I guess we shall ride another storm, and we shall write another story, and we shall keep it on our lips.
