The flickering ceiling takes me to a video game My mind ponders if it's real or if this world's the same Perception's a collection of past experience Somethings not right; love I feel doesn't have coherence In a past life I feel a warm embrace Then I turn to face the lace and smell it's rotten breath I never sleep, because sleep is the cousin of life To leave this earthly shell and ascend the soul Would be to forget my purpose of being here at all To spread knowledge and unite mankind Radiating love, I'm a flicker in the sky Orgone energy, but they wouldn't listen To question the system is against the mission, create a schism Some would say that this poem is insanity In restless dreams I walk alone Narrow streets of cobblestone I turn from the kingdom and tell the beggar that I'm going home. The hollow of my hands hold a sack full of ducats A glimmer of gold, you've got the sun in your eyes A petal of your former self; it's heaven in a flower Don't have a sword but I still have the power
