hey there welcome to the site :) basically you just do what you just did and say hi ^^ via a forumpost or directly to people :3 Also a good way to find people to talk to is to say "Hi" to the other new people who post into the "Newbies"-Section ^^ since they wanna make friends too. Aaaand you can go to the "EmoChat" and just talk to people there and if it works out with sb send that person a friendship-request and here you go :) Have fun ^^
