Just joined not too long ago, therefore I have no idea what to expect from this site. So, I'm kind of new to the emo universe. I know some people who are emo, or call themselves emo at least, and I've been doing some research on the whole culture for a while, but that's where my knowledge ends. I've always liked emotive-type music, and the fashion, not because of wanting to be part of a unique group, but because emo music and clothing fits how I feel. Unfortunately, my parents have held me back from expressing myself, but now that I'm 18, things are opening up for me. Now I can finally reveal how I really am...but, I do not wish to dishonor the emo culture by doing things improperly. Please, I ask for any form of guidance. I'd really appreciate that. :)
