I looked into his eyes As he poked my gentle hand, I smiled as I realized Exactly what he had planned. I smiled as I felt His hand slip into mine, I've never felt this way before At any time I pulled my hand away Afraid that we'd get caught, I replaced it with my number And hoped we'd text a lot He started texting that night And I was happy to see He definitely had some interest in me He told me he was bi and I felt so much joy to know I had a chance with this amazing boy Then I realized he hadn't understood What I meant when I said "I'm actually not a girl, I'm a boy instead" He didn't understand My love for him fell apart His transphobia took with him My loving fragile heart
