Lacerations aren't only outside. Sometimes, cuts and scars are held deep within. Sure, there aren't fresh wounds gracing my thighs. I deny suspicion with just a grin. But I'm starting to crumble like before. My plates are now empty, my eyes like glass. I have hollowed out bones and locked shut doors, stumbling through each day like it's my last. The veins in my arms used to be my canvas, razor blade kisses 'til it no longer aches. Now, deeper I fall into my abyss, a collective world willing me to break. You all are happy I no longer bleed, but pain still remains when it is unseen.
