I've never written a poem before, but I'm finding it a good outlet for the heartbreak I'm experiencing If I was asked to quantify how much I love you, I would say "look up at the sky and count the stars" But the Stars have now faded, Only a glimmer through the clouds, Mist pushes the star always, Their light and beauty pains, Their warmth wallows. The mist: stagnant and stubborn will eventually shallow, And the clouds will whisper. The Stars will shine brighter and more beautiful than ever before, For a new observer. Laughing amongst the mountain, The sky will give birth to new burning flames.
