emo songs/lyrics with no major triggers? May 25 2018, 09:53 AM

so I'm putting a quiz together for school, but the teacher is worried about swears and triggers, so any suggestions?

I'd recommend going for something along the lines of christcore because if it's not just swearing but generalized triggers you're going to struggle with finding anything as it's meant to be emotional, better yet, if not christcore go for a punk goes pop cover so it's a common popular song most people are okay with but with an alternative sound. The only other thing I can think of is early stuff by a band I think is called Family Force 5, super tame stuff, can barely remember what it sounds like but I remember an edgy emo kid in primary school loving it and it was "family friendly"
