Very unpopular opinion but I’m not a fan. Not that I don’t like them, I just don’t follow the hype. I can appreciate them but I still wouldn’t choose to listen to them XD

I love them, but don't underestimate traditional emo bands like Tiny Moving Parts and Pedro the Lion

I currently don't like them because someone said they were dissing the subgenre of Emo music in an interview, but were they lying?

In a way, I feel MCR is a great gateway to the alternative rock genre. It's a great way to get introduced to many other musical artists/bands. This being said I do enjoy MCR I've just found myself listening to them less.

I only like their 1st album. Kinda. And yes, MCR did kinda diss emo, because they didnt want to be stereotyped.
