what if emo never existed? like emo music, emo bands, the emo clothes etc, do you think your life would be different? would you still be into rock music? would you still dress the same? would your lifestyle be anoy different? etc

Right, I'll try this again: If emo didn't exist? Hmm well I don't think it would really bother me, after all I got into rock/punk long before the whole emo scene. Once I heard it of course, I couldn't get enough of it. But now it's starting to slowly bore me, hence why I virtually scrapped most of the music I listen to, and went on the look-out for other, more rock/metal like bands :D Sick of listening to all this mainstream crap all the time :/ So yes, decided that on Wednesday xD Anyway, back on topic now, my type of fashion would be very effected, without a doubt. No skinny jeans? Noooooooooooooooooooo :P Either way, I'd still be into the rock music of course :D Think I would have gone the way as two of my closest friends went, the more gothier side of things :D

If emo didin't exist this website wouldn't!! :o Personally I don't think i'd be all that much different. I'd still be into rock music. My clothing would obviously be a bit different - more gothy / mosher etc maybe. My lifestyle wouldn't be much different either. What about you Vic?

Good. I agree with it all. If emo didn't exist we'd still both be part of the alternative scene as we were before emo kicked off.

lol can do it for both emo and rock music in general.... well if emo didnt exist then i dont really think my life would be that different, id prob still dress the same and my lifestyle prob be the same, still in into rock music mainly metal stuff, be weird not having this website tho! lol if rock music didnt exist my life would be mega different! id prob end up trendy like my closest mates, my weekends would exist going to the trendy nightclubs and pubs by me dressed in tiny shorts :/ and low cut tops and i dowt id go to any gigs or anything like that :/ dont like that idea at all! im never going trendy! rock for ever :D lol

Sorry bad spelling, Beatnik there like emos of the 1950's but more hardcore they went to underground clubs they dressed down alot. They were quite smart like black skinny's and a striped top, but they were'nt the whole emo love heart and slogans more punk if any thing. Thankyou for the comment & to be 100% honest im more punk that emo But beatnik rock my socks. :)
