Here are my favorite Japanese bands: Beat Crusaders Asian Kung-Fu Genration Yui Orange Range L'Arc-En-Ciel Flow The Pillows V6 Do As Infinity Every Little Thing Day After Tomorrow Those are all my current favorite Japanese bands.

I enjoy Dir en Grey, X Japan, The Gazette, Antic Cafe, and Nightmare. Diru is definately my favorite though. I don't care if I can understand them or not, they still sound really good. I have a DVD and two CDs of Dir en Grey.

I live in Japan, but I hardly listen to the music here. :| Most of it sounds kind of like wannabe-hardcore to me O.o (Especially because I understand the lyrics..) There's a band called Ellegarden, though, and their lyrics are in English. I guess they're pretty cool. :)

i like SunSet Swish and Every Little Thing i discovered "Sunset Swish" through the anime Bleach and " Every Little Thing" through " SunSet Swish" both of them have excellent songs called "sakurabito" sakurabito by SunSet Swish.. really touched me :)
