Has become popular with the emo scene, i guess, espacially here where I stay. I don't know about anywhere else? What are your thoughts on smoking? I'm curious. xD

People know the risks but still do it anyway.. Like, everybody's-gotta-die-of-something-type thing. I guess. xD

^ i understand that theory.. but in my opinion it does not make any sense trying to speed up the process even though someone who does not smoke can get knocked down by the same bus as someone who does

i never tried smoking. I d0nt like ending up having tuberculosis.

The smoking ban in the UK has certainly changed people's opinion on smoking and reduced the number of smokers. However I think the number of smokers are starting to increase a bit now and yea it seems fairly popular with the emo scene.

I've heard alot of people say something like I just do it now I won't be smoking when I'm 30 or something. Clearly they just think it's a fashion thing? I dunno.

I wish I'd never ever started! If I met someone who said it was cool to smoke, I would shout at them till my lungs were soarer than the already are! I would feel so guilty if I let them do it

Yeah, it's become somewhat popular with the kids over here as well. I was at the mall yesterday and there was this huge group of emo/scene kids around a cart that was selling like these vapor smoke cigarettes or whatever, I was like 0__0 uhm...okay...>.> I will never smoke anything, weed or cigs, ever. I believe in only inhaling oxygen.

I'm with Fluke here. Wish I never started. I don't even remember why I started in the first place it was ages ago though. I hate seeing all the little like 14-year-olds in town asking us older ones so go buy them some cigs or bevvy or whatever. :\ I'm always like dude don't do it it's hard to give up!

Emo characters - usually donot smoke they are to much of - pretty princess Queens and kings! - Groove - and it's because smokes destroy your teeth your skin color and smells. but as i said i dont smoke...only 1 0r 2 in like 5 months.. OUT.

Some people do not smoke because of health reasons ... i am asthmatic as well,, smoking is not the best option for me either.

I know an ashmatic that smokes, she's probably only 13 too.. It makes me kinda sad.. :\

There is no denying it that in a number of cases smoking is considered 'cool', and a lot of youngsters give in to peer pressure and may get addicted..
