I straighten my hair... to hide my eyes... I wear foundation... to hide my imperfecttion... I wear eyeliner and mascra... to hide how sad my eyes really are... I walk with confidence.... to hide how shy I really am... I look you in the eye... to hide my fear... I put on a smile... to hide my broken heart... But what am I really hiding??? behind the facade... behind the parade of plastic... What?? I guess you'll never know... The wall will always be up... and I'll always be behind it... Gasping for a breath... with a heavy heart... and a broken smile... I'll always be hiding... waiting to be found...
