ok so my dad forgets my bday so he takes me camping (i hate camping but i wasnt going to tell my dad) so we hike up this HUGE hill thingy for like 4 hours when finally my dad stops and says this is perfect (any other time i would have disagreed but i was tried) so i was like sure dad perfect. we get the tents up (after another 2 hours) and its getting dark i tell my dad i think we should do something with the food but he says it would be ok on the ground so i go to sleep and about an hour later i hear something outside i get up thinking it was my dad but i come face to face with a bear with our food in his mouth (i didnt know what to do and i was scared so i got the food (yes out of the bears mouth and i know not the smartest thing to do but it gets better) and ran into my tent my dad hears me screaming (i was screaming the whole time) and he runs out of his tent. So im on one side of the bear in my tent screaming and my dad is on the other screaming then the bear starts to walk to my tent and my dad jumps on it. i get out my my tent and throw a ham we was going to eat down the hill and the bear follows it. we run down the other side and get down there in just 2 hours. but the car is on the other side of the hill so we walk around it (thankfuly my dad wasnt hurt.) we finally get there and the car is all messed up so we call my mom (on the phone i wasnt allowed to bring but did any way) and she comes and gets us. we were wet muddy and totally gross but that was a camping trip i will never forget. i even got a scar from running into a tree and it looks kinada like a bear! way cool! but needless to say i will NEVER go camping again lols and thats my camping trip gone bad
