Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone here likes the band, Evanescence. They are not exactly emo but somewhere in between emo and goth. I love most of their songs. Try listening to their songs if you haven't heard any. I'm sure they'll appeal to you. :)

evanescence was the band that got me into alternative music. i love amylee! her voice and she is so God damn Gorgeous :D Her music is Amazing. And i still call Them my favorite band.<3

it's a good band evanescence but there isn't a bit of emo in it..in the band the evanescence is all about Doom Gothic style..

I love Amy Lee too. If I have a style icon, it's definitely her. :) And, there are only few songs such as "Lithium" and "Call Me When You're Sober" which are totally goth. Songs such as "Everybody's Fool" and "Bring Me To Life" are more like emo.

Loved the band for ages. I also read they might be bringing out a new album soonish.

Oh I heard that too. I read somewhere that the new album might release in fall next year.

Yeah I'm a fan! I especially liked their first album :] So creative and Amy Lee is really pretty!

Evanescence fucking sucks. and they have absolutely nothing to do with emo nor goth.

They've got that gothic vibe. Very Rozz Williams-like in terms of being spooky at times.
