So Adam is on anti-depressants because he's been having suicidal thoughts and stuff like that and I've always thought that they never really work, but he was in a really good mood today and seemed to be amazingly happy, soo I wanted to try one and see if it would really make a difference for me because I've been thinking that I need to get put on something for a while so adam gave me one of his pills and honestly thats the best I've felt in a long time, but it did give me all this raw energy and i was like bouncing off the walls... so I've decided that since it did work that I should probably see about getting put on anti- depressants but I don't know how to start that conversation with my mom

not to judge you, but people have actually become suicidal because of the pills too, maybe you feel good, but yeah, you'll realize you only live a lie. I will not recommend it as long as you don't need them to be kept alive...

I took that kind of pills a few years ago and never again I only felt worse after taking them only more tired and depressed so my advice : talk to a therapist about ur problems instead :-) x

ehh yeah I guess it kind of make sense and I'm still having trouble trying to figure out how a pill that is supposed to help with depression can make it worse, i mean other than the fact that if you don't need them it can. my grandma's doctor put her on some when she didnt need to be and well she started to get really depressed :/

Theres loads of options other than pills,just go talk to your doctor :)

ehh yeah good point, but the thing is I don't know how to start a conversation about it with my mom to where she'd get me a doctor appt.

Wanna know what helped me when I was feeling depressed and was thinking about ending it all...I went on to this site, they diden't say directly: OMG, Your wierd, don't do it...and all that crap. They talked about low esteem and how we increase the confidence, it sounds like crap. But when you feel depressed, it makes sense. And they recommended: The Samaritans. Well the person who I talked to was crap xD But heres they're e-mail: jo@samaritans.org Or if they're useless, I'll be here :> Or confide in a friend <3 Just knowing someone is out there, ready to listen, been through it aswell, is the best feeling ever <3 :>

ehh you got a point there but when its been going on for like 4 years, at least then you know its something more phsycological

Talk to someone babes <3 I'm sure RiRi or Suicide will listen :> Or if you have a diary, thats better ;> I just write everything down, it gets it all of my chest. And do you know, put an elastic band on your wrist. Instead of cutting, pull it. It helps :> But I still cut so w/e ;P 4 years are a long time, but it's never too late <3 Just think this: I will take anything life throws at me with strength and positive thinking. It got me out of being depressed, but never run away from things...

4 years deprressed 7 years cutting... and I tried that rubber band thing last year, it was the only way that i could convince my counsler not to talk to my mom about it... but yeah and I know I have people to talk to its just the fact of talking about it

Nikki, It took me so long to tell my mum I was suicidal, she flipped. But she had to know. And just me, or is cutting fucking hard? xD

Just stay strong, even in hard times hope and faith will give you strength and will to live, it's not proven that you are psychological "crazy" it just proves that life doesn't come that easy on everyone, some people might say, others have it worse than you, but you ain't them. Stay strong...as i said. You can confide to me if you want, maybe i can help you a bit on the way, im not as stupid as people think and i actually have had my problems myself, my counselor said i was getting away from my depression and suicide madness, extremely quick.....not to push you but it actually help's opening up and just let all the compressed emotions fly out of you body. i didn't believe it would work myself, but it did!

I think I might send the three of you a message in a few, and yeah I get what you're saying my counsler was basically on a first name basis with me, she saw me anywhere from every other week to twice a day and I enjoyed our talks but when i got to high school i was like no, no more of that I'm not going to a counslers anymore, if they find out that you cut then it goes on your permenant record, and now I'm thinking I quit to early, but I know that I don't have the time to talk to a counsler
