Alright, so how do you get into that sort of thing? Not regular dumb old modeling (yuck) I mean for like, you know, the cool stuff

I think you can start a portfolio and/or go to the site directly and apply. I believe there are links on the HotTopic website to model. Probably some good full bodied pictures, try to stay away from just posting your face. Unless they specifically want that. I don't know much really, but there are some good ideas on this website- It's full of interviews from people who run alternative modeling agencies and the models themselves and it has more links on the bottom, so it might help: http://www.mookychick.co.uk/careers/alternative_modelling_agency.php
