I never wanted to be anything less than perfect but perfect doesnt exsist so i guess i just gonna be the next best thing I do all i can to be attractive to guys a laugh with the girls a perfect daughter a perfect sister But perfect doesnt mean anything because perfect is a lie how can one define themself by a word a word with so much and so little to be determined by All i ever wanted was to be the best i could be i wanted to be what people expected from me I never got that far not even close because we both know that i cant be anything but poor Im never going to be average not even good because you stuck the knife in and twisted it too After everything i did for you and thats the thanks i get The only thing i had was words and paper but you took them too said i wasnt good at writing I didnt have enough emotion to write things down Well how about now? After losing everything i never had after losing my only, ever, dad Do i have enough emotion now ? I was only ever good to you I was always there when no one else was maybe i brought all this on myself i had nothing when i met you and i still have everything left I never wanted to be perfect I just wanted to be the best the best at something but i cant be that, not now, not ever They always say better late than never so if i take my life tonight will i be pure and perfect ? Because that word haunts me and i'll haunt you when im no longer here on this planet but up in the sky Because eveything is a dream a dream that isnt perfect.
