ok so does any one else think its stupid how alot of people judge emo's and think tht their gonna get cut or killed? my school is full of preps and jocks theres a handful of sk8rs and then theres like three or four emos and one of my now x friends told me the reason he didnt hang out with me was becuz of the way i dressed rite to my face. seriously who else is sick of it?

I hate this too.. I have this one kid Nolan in my class.. And in the hallway.. He told me to go cut myself, turned around and punched him in the face.. it was worth the suspension

Gaaah! The thing that pisses me off the most. It makes me want to just want to take they're pretty little fake nails, pink clothes, all they're girly make-up, their expensive posh phones & stamp on them, burn them, shred them, DESTROY THEM! But since I can't do that I do this, stick my middle finger up & scream "FUCK YOU!". Or just slap they're stupid little face ^-^ I agree, it's worth the suspension. It's like this girl from UK who I don't know goes, your weird. Why is your nickname MonkeyButt? It's rude & disgusting. Your weird. Eww, you cut, FREEEAAAK! Jesus fucking Christ, what is wrong with people these days? We're all equal. Okay, I say that but I know we're not equal. I'm gonna say it straight. Emo's are much better people then any of those fake bitches. We have feelings unlike them, who cry over a broken nail -_-' We don't over-dramatize. Yes, we may cut ourselves but because we have gone through alot more than they have. We're stronger than any of them. But sometimes we just can't cope. I HATE stero-typing. "Emo's are always wearing black & have black hair & black nail-polish & black eyes." "They cut themselves as well, look at that emo, all those scars." "Look at hair, it looks like she's just got out of bed." Sometimes, I just want to burn everything they have except black stuff & see how they feel. See how they like it when they can't cope & cut themselves & have to hide the scars.

yer it sucks big time. my whole form hates me cus im emo. when ever im walking down the schl some chav just shouts in my face "EMO" 4 no reason, its basicly my new name 4 any1 who dosnt hav a brain, which is alot of ppl. im the only emo in my yr so im mostly lonely. all the boys are chavs/gangster and all the girls are bitchs. the bitchs r funny tho cus they r used 2 compliments , having there way and constantly being center of attention, u insult them once and they scream and go crazy, its so funny seeing there reactions. some ppl say its wrong and im sad when ppl bully me but, they had it coming. for once they deserve it.

in most of my lessons i sit on my own 'coz no one will talk to me >.< some girls at my school were planning to beat me up one day right behind me like i couldnt hear them! and i used to get emails telling me to go slit my wrists and some boys pushed me into a wall when i was walking to my grans, i get called a pussy at school, but i think that their the pussys 'coz im the one who comes to school even though im gonna get abused and they have to be mean to have fun.

Where i am from (south africa)all the dudes love emo's and whenever im out there is always a black dude who will ask to have his photo taken with me o.O im moving to england soon....so im expecting it to be the opposite

It sucks big time i get judged alot and of course they say ohh you slit your wrists and shit and try kill yourself and i do so it hurts because i actually get ridiculed without people knowing my problems because of the things going on in my life and that i do fit in with the 'stereotype' of being 'emo' but let me them judge because as they grow up they will soon learn that if they judge the wrong person they will get hit hard by them. I believe in karma so let it run its course. But anyone who judges people is stupid because it can seriously damage someone.

More then could be said in words. Dealing with being called a fag, queer, gay every single day at school. I'm used to it but it still hurts, last day of school before I left for cyberschool kid was telling me I should "get a haircut you look like a fag", then "go cut yourself". Fucking hicks..Sorry I don't fuck my cousin and have the intelligence of a rock. Honestly people are just so pathetic these days, what kind of sick pleasure do they get out of making fun of us or others in fact.

My school is the same exact way. I don't get why people think we're so scary, I mean we're people just like them. Just cause we're unique and don't all look like Barbie dolls doesn't make us freaks like they think we are. :/

i know exactly how it feels. i got on my school bus last yr and a kid three seets away from me started yelling "EMO" the whole bus ride becuase some chick told him i was emo. wat the hell thts not even clever. then again people in Grayling michigan arent all tht smart. especially cuz most of them live in fredrick. the inbred town next to us. then some chick threatened to smash my face into a table and a teacher stepped in front of me before i could get to her. im pretty shy most of the time and i dont like drawing attentionn to myself but this chick had been harrasing me for over a year. i almost broke my hand on my locker becuz it was either her face or my locker and i didnt need more humiliation by adding a fight to the whole emo thing so i chose my locker. any other time im pretty passive about everything but god i think a year is fucking long enough.

well i am fortunate to have amazing friends and family and relatives and so on that loves me for the way i am and that have accepted that i am emo and goth :] and well i have been hearing a few times when being out shopping and so on that i am a freaking emo that should just go cut myself and that they would wanna beat me but the best thing to do really is to just ignore them... x

i hate steriotypes i have collected scars on my scars from my bike and falls swiming in rivers and other stuff i dont cut but when they see my clothes hair and scars well everyones like go cut your self you fag i hate it

I've already finished school and on the university situation is much different. Ppl no more judge me this way cause they're more mature here I think. But still... Recently my friend said that in his school he saw two girls laughing at me when one was shoeing my fb account to another. And I don't even know these girls. But usually ppl change their opinion if they get to know me. I have a lot of friends and no serious enemies. ^-^ Umm.. I'm proud of who I am and I don't care how do they judge me. They don't have any right to do this. Well.. I know who I am. Sometimes I even play on the society and the way they look at me. I know ppl are not my toys but they can be so predictable and funny XD

Tell me about it. For a long time I was too scared to dress how I wanted because I was scared of what people would think, but now I really don't give a fuck xD In high school, I'd get remarks on my style, but I haven't had it so much since leaving. Sizth formers are more mature :3

Well if you think about it. You all aren't much better. You guys get judged yes. But you are also hypocrites. You are judging the Preps and Jocks and people who are different then you are. You may think you are victims. But you are doing the exact same thing to them.

I hate generalisations like this cause everyone is different. And you can never say that we are all doing something. And we can criticise tendencies and behaviours in the groups but not ppl at all. Looking at anyone I see a different world. The world that haven't been fully discovered even by its creator. I feel some connection. Then asking the same question again... Who we are? Nothing but the ... Anserw as long as eternity.
