Tbh, their EP, Never Give In, which was their 4 track demo CD they made to get signed was written over a span of about 3 years, I think. BVB started out as post-hardcore/metalcore and ended up being pop rock. I liked their original stuff more because they actually took time on it, and the band members made it together, not just Andy saying, "this is how it's gonna be" like in their album, We Stitch These Wounds. In their new albums, they pretty much abandoned screams all together which was a downer for me because they were great in all of their other songs. In all of their new songs, they constantly preach the SAME "message" in every song. Be different, don't care what people think. Honestly, it's a good thing to say. But when you write the SAME lyrics over and over that say the same thing, it just gets old. With their fan base being every 15 year old girl that wants to **** Andy Sixx who have really no ACTUAL musical opinion of him at all, it makes him rich and pisses me off. The other half of his fan base being the little "I wanna be emo" kids that act out of pretense and actually just deal with the same problems as everyone else in the world and try to fit in by being "emo" because that's what's popular nowadays. I think I've rambled long enough... But hell, if they went back to the way they were when they FIRST came out, then I would probably listen to them again. PS, their new album, Set The World On Fire, makes me want to kill them. I think they're trying to look like a modern Kiss, which is retarded lmao... Sorry if you don't agree with this, and don't wanna admit your another teen girl or wanna-be emo doing the EXACT same thing as prep girls do over Justin Beiber (you find them fretting over him annoying? it's the SAME EXACT THING) but that is the truth of them matter. Yes, they used to be my favourite band.. I even have two of their T-Shirts..... but now they have changed.

Stopped listening to BVB/being a fan ages ago, but i'd have to agree with pretty much everything you said there. After 'Perfect Weapon' the whole "Be strong, little emo kid :)" thing just gets old. I mean at first they were amazing, I remember getting into metal from the moment I heard 'Knives and Pens'. Goosebumps. XD Checked out their older stuff, and liked it. But now they're just cliche emo music. ;P Can't really add more to this. If you check out some of my previous posts, I was a fan too, but they're just a boring little cliche now. lol

I dont like most of their new album, but their old stuff was good. its definantly annoy when all of these girls are like "Oy my god, andy is sooooooo sexy!" but dont even know that he's in a band. GRRR! I admit, his sense of humor and love for Sweeney Todd makes up a little for his not so great new music, but my strategy is to pretend that the new album doesn't exist, (which I dont tend to do alot, but i'll make an exception.)

yeahh i pretty much disagree with everything mentioned but im not about to start screaming at you for not seeing things my way. feel free to like whatever band you want.

Their new stuff isn't as good as their original sound. Plus, BVB sucks live. Mainly because of Andy v.v I'm team Pitts and team Jinxx. The guitarists. <3 Andy is an arrogant asshole.

I'd just like to say that I disagree with you completely. I love this band. I really do. But what you've said is very hurtful to both Andy and the fans. Personally attacking some one just because you don't like their music any more? That is low, dude. And hey. I'm a fifteen year old girl. I think Andy is attractive. But I heard and grew to love a full album of theirs before I even knew what they looked like. And yes, there are some irritating fan girls out there who just like the band because Andy is the front man and yes, they are annoying. And my favourite member is CC so you can all suck it about every one loving Andy. I seriously mean this when I say that this music and the band's views on issues such as haters and bullying have helped me to be stronger in myself. People have their own ways of getting through things. I don't even consider myself really an emo, it's the rest of society, which I guess includes you labelling us as such. And about the Kiss thing? They just draw from their influences. If you look back in musical history, everything is just a further development of something that's already been done. All music is is just different interpretations of people trying to improve on things that have gone before. I'm taking the Andy approach here. Mr Biersack would not even read this. Even if he did read it I doubt he would even care. To him you're probably just another grey little person living your life in such a boring way that you think it's necessary to push hate onto other people because you have nothing better to do. So yeah, go cry about how you don't like them any more, go hate on some other bands, but the truth is that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. And the death threats to some one you do not even know? How pathetic.

There seems to be a misconception, i do not hate them, i merely think them to be way overrated. just like the way everyone thinks justin beiber is a great musician and hes really not. you say that "this music and the band's views on issues such as haters and bullying have helped me to be stronger in myself." thats understandable, but it would be MUCH better if they didnt preach about the same meaning in every single song. Also, if you read the comments above you, most all support my case. And also, silence is compliance, so all of those who havent argued against me are complying to me. therefor, i win this debate by majority rule. have a nice day worshiping andy for what he is not.:)

This is what people say when they run out of excuses. It's quite funny. And I don't worship Andy, dear, I just think that a strong message delivered by a strong person that in essence is trying to help people is better than anything you have to say about your so called band politics. And as for preaching meanings? Love Isn't Always Fair, exactly what it says on the tin, love sucks some times. Saviour, about emotional support. Set The World On Fire, standing tall and not letting others drag you down. Ritual, about enjoying your life. These things are not the same. And if so many people say that they are great musicians, I guess, if we apply your rules, majority wins, hun.

I see both of your points and I have to say I agree with Nemo. I do say that it sucks that they have gone a bit more mainstream and lost a bit of themselves, but truth is that they are growing as a band. It's change. Maybe not good for some, but for others it is. Truth is, I never really listened to them a whole lot, but what I have heard is okay. They aren't my favorite band or anything, so I can honestly say I'm neutral and not a retarded little girl who think Andy is hot or whatever.

i agree with Audreyaffection, i love there music it speaks to me even tho im not "emo" i believe that everyone deserves there own opinion. also, my second opinion u could have said it in a nicer less imature way than "Andy six can suck my balls"

errmm. I hate to be a side switcher >.< but i kinda like the new album now that I've gotten to listen to it alone without distractions. Not all of the messages are about the whole cheer up emo kid thing we seem to refer too, some of them are acctually love songs. And then theres one song that makes it feel like being myself is a war, which is a very amusing thought. sorry for the side switchyness

Never truly thought of it that way... I like them and like their music, (yes I'm a 15 year old girl, lmao) but now that you say it like that their songs do have the same meaning... I still have all their songs I could get on 4shared though (don't worry they didnt get any of my money) and listen to them daily, but my respcet for them just kind of changed

Their demos? AWESOME. Set the World on Fire? Cliche, boring, semi-repetitive, all over just "ehh". Then again I don't listen to BVB that much, I tend to stick with heavier bands(metalcore/deathcore).

I like their old stuff but i like the new stuff more. ive listened to the whole album and i like nearly every song on it :)

From what my friend said (not that I've really noticed) they are getting more religious and Christian like in their songs, but if you ask me they aren't as bad as green day's last album so I dont mind
