If you like Death Note, then I'd suggest Code Geass. It's similar. Lelouch(main character of Code Geass) is trying to use his new power(Geass) to make the world a better place. Kind of how Light is trying to use the Death Note to rid the world of 'evil'. It's an anime that makes you think :P
