I want to let go No fighting No struggling Give into the tide that drags me Attempts to sweep me away I want to let the water take me And feel my tears pull to join it They want to paint clear lines down my cheeks And I want them to. Break through my resolve Break through my stoney facade And let myself give up I want to break down To watch and laugh as they take me away Take me away? Take me away Far away Take me Take my life Take over so that i dont have to think To feel myself fall yet hold myself back Away from the brink Because I have to be there for you But can't i just give up? Please? Let me fall So that I may sleep And rest peacefully So that my soul may ache no more...
