What is your purpose in this vast, ever growing universe? And how are you impacting it-if at all? (not planet Earth, the universe)

We have no purpose in the universe, whatever we do will never and cannot have any effect on the universe what so ever, we are just simple mammals on a dusty plane in the universe. The only purpose we have is to evolve, to keep the next generations coming so we can see the great mystery of existence. Eventually we "homo sapiens sapiens" will also die out like our ancestors "Homo Genus family" The longest our ancestors lived was 400 000 years, our specie has already lived for 200 000. The simplicity of thinking that mankind is special in any way is just pure laziness and arrogance. The Human Race has never and will never be any more special than any other animal living on this planet. In the universe it is and has always been the laws of physics that rule. We cannot break them, and we cannot avoid them. One question i've asked myself is...Is it possible to look at the universe the way we look at biology? Natural Selection

The way I see it, if we all perished the universe wouldn't even flinch. "In my opinion, it's a highly overrated phenomenon. Mars gets along perfectly without so much as a micro-organism."
