He said he'd fix me but he broke me instead he said i was the one but i was the fool he said he loved me but he knew the truth all i knew was lies he said i was his everything he became my everything controlling me he was i saw it more as caring telling me what to do with my life i saw it as guidance telling me who i cant talk to thought he was looking out for me but i opened my eyes i smelt my morning coffee he was a guy that was a player a guy who just wanted to bring me down i grew strong and i told him no i walked off and held my head high he was the guy who tried to break me he was the guy who failed.

For some reason when I saw the title I figured (once again) that you wrote this. I agree totally with Matt; his loss..what a loss indeed.... Glad to you were able to "walk off and hold your head high" though! *hugs*

We always think they're nice deep down after being away from them for a while. But you know, if they don't treat you right, they're not worth the attention you give them or the emotions they put you through.
