hello,recently my school wants me to go see the school counselor...i'm not entirerly sure if i should go...i want help but i also don't want to reveal too much about me...should i just go or not?i have to decide in a week...please help me then

well...all I can say is that if you want help eventually you're gunna have to reveal some stuff about yourself and talk about it to the counselor. If you don't give them the whole story, they can't help fully.

Idk... I've had people tell me to go but I never did. I'd say it depends on the counselor. Does he/she seem like someone who would help or hurt you? That's the question you need to ask yourself

i'm not so sure,the principal is a nice guy and he has a lot of nice people working at my school but i'm not so sure i can trust her...i want to spill everything about my whole life but i don't know if i should hold myself back or not...

Well, if you don't feel like you can trust the people at school, then maybe you should research any counselors (outside of school) around your area? I know sometimes you can find people who do counseling for teenagers for free, at least I know of someone who does that around where I live.

i have called kids help phone but they did nothing....i do need help but i just...don't feel comfortable talking to them....

I understand :( I had friends who kept trying to get me to talk to my counselor and I refused. I just didn't feel like she'd give me any help. And next thing I knew one of my friends went to her because of a story he wrote for class, and all she did was call his grandmother and say he was being suicidal or whatever. Yeah, not a good counselor if you ask me :/

Well if you believe it could help then I would but if your doing it because you feel like you have to or if people are making then think if it would help, it's not going to kill you to talk to someone and a school counseler might be a good way to. But on the other hand it's giving you the discomfort of having to relive it and tell it to someone that may not help. Do what you feel is right, maybe ask if you can talk to her just to get to know if you think you trust her... Eh sorry if this is exactly what every one else said... Hope this helps :)

nah,it's alright i'll just ignore her...i don't feel like talking to her anymore...after remebering all the other councelers....none of them help... :/
