Soft hands Press gently against bare skin. I clench tight my eyes And breathe sharp. Memories, Which creep behind closed lids, Of sweet taste Gentle hands Lying lips... A cry escapes mine. My ears echo the ghost Of sounds belonging Only to you. Nightmare's climax. Knuckles white Clammy palms Shaking lips Clenched eyes Deaf ears Black sight Stimuli overdose Blacked-out senses- Snap! Eyelids snap open To where it all began... Your soft, beckoning voice: "Don't you want your hug?"
